Bethany Schonsheck is an associate in the Orlando office where she practices in the areas of general liability defense, premises liability, automobile negligence, resort and amusement defense and insurance coverage litigation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Flagler College in 1997 with minors in Political Science and Pre-Law studies. She then attended University of Florida College of Law and has been a member of the Florida Bar since September, 2000.

Bethany has previously practiced as an Assistant State Attorney in the 7th Judcial Circuit from 2000-2006 where she worked in the Felony Trial Division. While there, she tried in excess of 100 cases by both jury and non-jury trial. She has also practiced insurance defense and liability litigation while associated with the Firm of Hassell, Moorhead & Carroll in Daytona Beach from 2006-2010.

Ms. Schonsheck has been a member of the Dunn Blount Inns of Court since 2005 and a member of the Volusia County Bar Association since 2000, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors. She has also volunteered with the Volusia County Teen Court Program, and was named by M.A.D.D. as an Outstanding Prosecutor of the Year for her trial work related to the prosecution of DUI’s.
