Mr. Lockeby is a partner in the firm's Orlando office. He has trial experience in both State and Federal Courts, and currently concentrates his practice in construction defect litigation, general liability, premises liability, and automobile negligence cases.
Mr. Lockeby is a member of the Florida Bar and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. He was admitted to practice in Florida in 1982, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Following graduation from law school, he began practicing in Orlando in the area of insurance and general liability defense. Before attending law school, he worked as an internal auditor for the predecessor to SunTrust, Sun Banks, N.A.
He attended law school at Mississippi College School of Law and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1982. While in law school, Mr. Lockeby served on the Executive Committee of the Moot Court Board and was a member of the law school's National Trial Competition Team.
Mr. Lockeby graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance.
